It looks where careers start
The desk works the open channels where new talent surfaces first, and reads what someone is actually saying about themselves — whether they are seeking representation, building a book, or simply posting. Intent is part of the signal, not an afterthought.

It finds out who represents them
Before a prospect reaches you, the desk checks agency boards and public records for existing representation. A mother agency is not a disqualification — it is useful information, and the mother agent is listed as a route in. What it will not do is guess: if representation cannot be established either way, the prospect is held back rather than shown to you as unsigned.

It resolves a way to reach them
A face you cannot contact is not a lead. Each prospect carries the public contact path the desk could evidence — the representing agent where there is one, the person's own public route where there is not — and the receipt that path came from.

It hands your team a decision
New faces arrive in your War Room as a short, reviewable set. Yes or no, one at a time. A no takes that person off your board and the desk learns from it; it does not bring them back.

What it will not do

No approach is made for you
The desk never messages, follows, comments on or invites anyone. Discovery and contact are
different acts, and the second one belongs to your agency.
Adults only
Anyone with positive indication of being under eighteen is excluded at discovery and never
reaches your board.
No biometric identification
Prospects are discovered and identified from what they have published about themselves —
their name, their words, their public work. The scouting desk does not identify anyone by
their face.
No unevidenced claim
Where representation or a contact route cannot be evidenced, the prospect is withheld rather
than shown to you with a gap in it.
